Ford Figo Celebration Edition launched

Union Budget may have planned a spoilsport for Indian car bazaar and the petrol price hike may have attempted a further dampening but the industry fights back. It is the individual cars that will shine in this tough weather and it is Ford that is the first launch a new car in such a situation. Celebrating the third anniversary of the hatchback, the car maker has launched the Ford Figo Celebration Edition and its price starts at Rs 4.15 lakh for the petrol variant while the diesel model price is Rs 5.15 lakh. Thus with the launch of this special edition it is expected that the new hatchback will give an instant push to the Ford car sales in the country. This new car will on the one hand celebrate the successful years of this car and will also set abuzz car sales which are somewhat off the track recently.  

The new Ford Figo Celebration Edition is the penultimate Ford car launch before the Ford EcoSport. First, it was the Ford Endeavour All Terrain Edition and now it is the Celebration Edition. Meanwhile Ford has already launched the promotional campaign for the EcoSport in order to amass wide publicity before the launch which is now believed to be in the month of April.

The new Figo has come at a time when the car industry has lost hopes of recovery from the centre government and the budget has been a strict determining factor for the growth of the industry. Also, the industry as well as the car buyer is in a confused state right now as he is yet to assess the extent of the effect of the budget on the car industry and the car prices. Meanwhile, the special edition of this car is expected to gain some initial good numbers as all those who have been waiting for it have got it in a grand manner. The price of the Figo Celebration Edition too is kept low making it highly affordable in the segment looking at the features it comes with. 

The new Figo car has all the features of the Titanium Edition of the car and also has some extra features. Features including Diamond White color, celebration edition decals, rear spoiler, navigation system, reverse parking sensors, new seat covers, new alloys, new fog lamps, two airbags and … and a host of other features that makes this list never ending. But in all, looking at the wide variety of features as well as the price at which is it being offered, the Figo Celebration Edition is a worth buy and Maruti Swift and Tata Vista must be hating Ford for this new release.
