Recognise this gem of automotive history pictured above? It's a 1963 Aston Martin DB5 prototype that's been left to rust away, before being sold at a recent Bonhams auction for a staggering £400,000. Yes, £400,000 for an old Aston without a front end.

But it's not the only classic that's been left to rot. "Barn finds" seem to be all the rage at the moment - neglected for years before being discovered beneath decades of dust in sheds and garages across the world. And many, even in their delapidated states, have sold for a fortune.

We've gathered together our favourite barn-find classic cars - among them are Aston Martins, Ferraris and Porsches. Believe it or not, there's even James Bond's old Lotus.
