Unlikely as it may seem, this car started out as a fairground dodgem ride. Bizarrely, it was then commercialised as a road car and fitted with a 98cc Villiers engine.

Sold by a London company between 1934 and 1940, the single-seater could reach a top speed of 15mph. Despite these apparent shortcomings, adventurer Jim Parkinson drove one 15,000 miles around the world in the 1960s.
