Alfa Romeo 164

The 1980s may have been the decade that good taste forgot, but Pininfarina's work on the Alfa Romeo 164 at least redressed some of the balance. Sensational proportions, clean lines and clever use of contrasting colours to lower the stance visually gave the 164 all the kudos of a classic - although some have criticised Pininfarina for duplicating essentially the same shape as it did for the Peugeot 405.
