What is West Coast Customs' involvement in the Project Detroit 2012 Ford Mustang?
West Coast Customs is the facilitator of this rather elaborate integrated technology project from Microsoft. If you've ever seen MTV's Pimp My Ride TV show, you'll be familiar with the California firms work.

The company has done the head-scratching on how to insert all the devices and wiring into the Mustang - "like trying to fit 20 pairs of shoes into one sock draw" according to one employee - as well as taking on the customisation of the car.

The new body has been painted in a matte grey hue and is teamed with huge 10-spoke alloys; the Windows badges adorning the MicroStang's front and rear are a nice touch.

The cool blue backlighting of the wheel wells and radiator grille give the MicroStang somewhat of a Knight Rider KITT edge, but when we say cool we're referring to an "icy" look, rather than style...
