A peek into the glorious history of BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke), which, in English, becomes Bavarian Motor Works
The 1 Series, originally launched in 2004, was BMW's smallest car. The 5 Series Gran Turismo (F07) made its début in 2010 and created a segment between station-wagons and crossover SUVs. It is the first production-destined rendering for BMW's Progressive Activity Sedan (PAS) series of cars. The 7 Series Hydrogen featured one of the world's first hydrogen-fuelled internal combustion engines which is fuelled by liquid hydrogen and emits only clean water vapour.
